There are a  number of other sites which may be of interest to visitors to this site.

www.ColorantsHistory.org is a site devoted to the history and development of dyes, pigments, and related colorants and to the pioneers who made these companies grow. The author, Dr. Robert Baptista is a retired industrial organic chemist who spent over 30 years on the management side of textile dyes

www.textileheritagemuseum.org is a site devoted to the preservation of the textile heritage of the industry.  A restored mill village and museum are located at Glencoe, north of Burlington, NC

www.historync.org is a site of NC Business Hall of Fame.  There is a Laureate page devoted to prominent NC businessmen.

www.manchester2002-uk.com/museums/museums4.html has a section devoted to Helmshore Textile Museum, near Manchester in the UK.  There are also biographies of noted textile people from the region.

Recycled Mills is a listing of textile mills that have been converted to condos, schools, and offices.
