The VF Corporation of Greensboro, NC has come a long way since its beginnings as a glove and mitten manufacturer in 1899. Here is one of their early ads dating from 1923. The following web site tells a bit of the early history and shows some labels used over the years. Famous for lingerie, they sold this division to Fruit of the Loom in 2007.
