The Parks-Cramer Company was founded as a result of the purchase in 1918 of Stuart W. Cramer’s company by the G. M. Parks Company of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Stuart W. Cramer’s humidifiers installed in the ceiling of this spinning room above and weave room to the right. Production doubled due to increased efficiency (less yarn breakage). An installation typically paid for itself in one year.
