1909 – The Standard Silk Company are making additions to their mill   in Phillipsburg to make room for an additional 200 looms, making it one of the   largest silk mills in the country.

1910 – The Continental Silk Mills at Paterson moved their entire  plant of eighty looms to their new mill in Phillipsburg NJ.
